Worked with architect prior to project commencement to create a “Woodwork Restoration” specification section.
Contracted for work that included all historic wood design and sample creation, cleaning, rinsing/stripping, repairs, sanding, staining and finishing in courtrooms, judges’ chambers, libraries and attorney’s rooms. Oversaw and stained and finished to match existing historic finishes new wood materials installation and finishing.
A documentary about the building and it’s restoration took a bronze at the 36th Annual Telly Awards

Honor Award 2004, awarded to Schooley Caldwell Associates and Feinknopf Macioce Schappa Architects by the Columbus Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
The 2004 James B. Recchie Design Award, awarded to Schooley Caldwell Associates, associate firm Moody Nolan and Feinknopf Macioce Schappa Architects by the Columbus Landmarks Foundation, a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating Columbus' architectural legacy.
